I love this photo I took because it describes my favorite sport, swimming. I think the photo capture the peacefulness of the pool, how you have to channel all your thoughts before you race to prepare yourself for what you are about to do, to think only about winning, dropping time, and not about the physical pain it might cause. Swimming is a physical along with a mental sport; you have to be mentally strong to keep going and not to take that extra breath that will only make you lose time. And I think this picture, as simple as it is, captures that, the mental state of a swimmer.

This photo is another swimming photo, because that’s such a big part of my life and I want to express who I am through my photos. This photo is two photos put in one; they are both the Speedo logos two from my swim caps and one from my suit. I love the color of this photo how the blue pops and makes the Speedo stand out.

I like this photo because I feel like it is one of my most creative photos. I don’t also see myself as creative person all the time but this photo helps remind me that I am creative. I love the yellow tint of the photo and how it makes the rose in the cage pop. I also like the theme I associate with this photo. I fell like its saying let love free and let it go to whom it want to be with, the rose represents love, and the open cage represents letting it go and be free to do what it wants.

This was one of my first photos for my digital photography class, and this was the photo that got me excited to go out and take more pictures. I like this photo so much because it is the photo that got me eager to take more photos and experiment with what I can do. Its not just a pretty picture to me, it shows my progress in this class. I also love the green in this photo and how the lines draw your eyes to the other side of the bridge.
